Claudia started her career at Mckinsey & Co, moving on to Pearson PLC where she worked on the strategic development of the Group away from of diverse assets to becoming a coherent media company. completing her MBA at Insead, Claudia joined the Financial Times where she was part of the team that launched FT.com. She then ran TheStreet.co.uk, an Internet start up providing news and analysis for private investors. She moved from there to Goldman Sachs where she was responsible for the development of the GS Portal, and the development of the Goldman Sachs digital strategy and product set. Claudia left Goldman Sachs to work for HM Treasury where she was Director of the Enterprise and Growth Unit where she was responsible for many of the policy issues which affect business including productivity, competition and regulation. Claudia was Group Managing Director of Emap between 2008 and 2010 and was responsible for transforming the predominantly print trade publishing business in to digital data and information business. Prior to her appointment at Aviva, Claudia was Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director of Telecity plc until January 2016. She was also Chairman of the Public Data Group from 2012 to 2015 and a non- director of Which, Doctors.net.uk, Transport for London and Partnerships UK. Claudia is currently a non- director of Derwent London plc, Halfords Group plc and the Premier League. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Shareholder .
